Annual Fundraiser Breakfast
Every year CAN's mission remains the same although the faces and households we help may change. Our mission has always been centered and focused on helping low-income Baltimore County residents. In conjunction with that mission we are dedicated to the channels and means that continually help us to reach our goal. Historically, CAN's primary funding comes from federal, state and local government grants. However, with the downturn in the economy over the past few years, we struggle to meet the financial requirements necessary to operate as the need for those in despair has grown exponentially.
In an effort to help us produce additional resources for the community, CAN is holding its Annual Fundraiser Breakfast this fall. The fundraiser is not only to raise much needed funds but to raise public awareness for the plight of low-income families through out Baltimore. Guests of the fundraiser can be sure to enjoy "Omelets made to Order" sponsored by the Baltimore Culinary Arts Institute. The fundraiser will also include entertainment by The Baltimore School for the Arts who will be performing theatre scenes and short acts in relation to the issues that continue to challenge our community.
Your attendance is very much welcomed and encouraged! Registration forms are available online as well as at our main office. If you are unable to attend the event and experience the mission of CAN in person, donations in support of CAN and our mission are greatly appreciated.
