CAN’s mission is to provide quality training, education, and resources to raise people’s knowledge and awareness about money management, credit scores, and cash flow for the purpose of eliminating financial stress and creating self-sufficiency. All activities include action steps for clients to move themselves toward greater stability and growth.
Individual Attention
Clients receiving services from CAN review their budgets with a Community Resource Specialist and identify areas for implementing change.
Financial Literacy Program
Financial Literacy trainings provide a basic understanding of money, learning to prioritize needs and make critical financial decisions. Sessions are held every Tuesday morning in Rosedale and Wednesday mornings in Catonsville. Call our main office for times and dates.
Debt Diet
CAN is launching a new “Debt Diet” program! Participants gather twice a month to discuss their challenges and achievements in their quest for financial self-sufficiency. They will learn about credit scores, debt management, budgeting, bank accounts, estate planning, power of attorneys, health insurance and more.
