Living paycheck to paycheck?
The overall goal of C.A.N.'s two employment programs is to equip clients with the tools needed to ensure long-term employment with the potential to earn a better income with benefits that will lead the family to economic and social self-sufficiency. Project Self Sufficiency (PSS) works hard to employ clients who need a "foot in the door" to begin to develop a stable work history. The LIFE program (Living Independently ForEver) supports working adults with children who are primarily responsible for paying household bills. Support comes in the form of education, networking, referrals to services, financial assistance, and motivation.
comes in the form of helping clients to identify strong and weak areas in their "skill sets" and to identify possible avenues of specialization, skill enhancement, and immediate as well as long term employment tracks.
