Community Investment Tax Credit Program
The CAN Community Investment Tax Credit Program offers tax credits as incentives for individuals and businesses who donate money to our 2021 Client Choice Food Pantry and Administrative Office expansion.
Businesses and individuals that make a capital contribution of $500 dollars or more will earn Maryland State tax credits equal to 50% of the value of the contribution.
Individuals and businesses must use the tax credits against Maryland State taxes owed for the year in which the contribution was made and may not be used retroactively for taxes from a prior year. Any individual or business contemplating making a donation is encouraged to consult with their accountant or tax professional for information about their specific tax benefits.
To address the needs of Baltimore County residents Community Assistance Network is building a Client Choice Food Pantry while simultaneously expanding our administrative offices. This new food pantry model will allow clients to receive services in a more dignified way. Our new offices will give our staff more room to offer more services to more people.
