Community Assistance Network provides supplemental food to income-eligible, Baltimore County residents. We generally provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks per day for seven days based on household size. Larger families can expect to receive a food supplement that adequately addresses the needs of their family.
It is the goal of the CAN Community Choice Pantry to provide individuals and families with nutritionally-balanced food supplements. We strive to provide staples from each major food group to each household. Please be advised that items may vary depending on received donations and available inventory.
The CAN Community Choice Pantry works diligently to secure donations of pet food, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, conditioner, household goods, toiletries and so much more. These items are available to our neighbors as supplies last. If there is anything else you need, please let us know.

Newly Constructed Community Pantry
Community Assistance Network has completed renovating and expanding our Dundalk location. We provide Baltimore County residents who utilize our services, a more dignified and comfortable experience. As part of our renovation, we included a community choice pantry that allows qualifying community members to choose their own grocery items instead of receiving a pre-packaged box of supplemental food.
Inclement Weather Advisory
Community Assistance Network's Community Choice Pantry will be closed when there is inclement weather. We typically follow Baltimore County government closings and delays. We may also close when the Baltimore County government does not if we feel it is unsafe for staff and visitors. Please call the main office number at 410-285-4674 or check our CAN social media page (Facebook), for up-to-date information before traveling to CAN. If CAN is closed due to inclement weather and you are due to receive pantry services, you may come the next day we are open.
